Charity Auction 2017

It is that time of year again – we are holding our annual charity auction on Thursday 30 March at The Dowty Sports and Social Club, Down Hatherley Lane, Gloucester GL2 9QH at 7.30pm.  We have had to move to a larger venue this year as the event is proving so popular!

This year the charity in question is the Hollie Gazzard Trust.  This charity was created by Hollie’s parents, Nick and Mandy, and her sister Chloe following Hollie’s murder in 2014 by an ex-partner. HGT helps reduce domestic violence through creating and delivering programmes on domestic abuse and promoting healthy relationships to schools and colleges.

The ultimate aim of the Trust is to positively change the lives of young people through partnerships in communities, as well as working alongside other charities and professional agencies.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust also campaigns to reduce anti-social behaviour and knife crime.

We warmly invite you to join us on the night as there will be many and varied lots to choose from and to suit all budgets.  Come along and bag yourself something different and possibly a bargain or two!

Additionally we are always looking for donations for the Auction. Please consider donating something – it doesn’t matter how expensive or how small everything will be hugely appreciated by a charity that receives no public support but is solely funded by donations. You might be able to donate time too rather than goods – we have had a half day’s carpentry skills, a garden makeover and painting and decorating in recent years!

Any queries or donations do email Millie (mc@tlg.uk.com) or Sharon (sf@tlg.uk.com)
