CHARITY ROUNDERS SUCCESS

Last night was the occasion of the inaugural staff rounders match between TLG and our sister company Equilaw. There was an excellent turnout – including the Umpires and Cheerleaders (well cheering spectators I guess) more than 30 staff members came along. As they all paid for the privilege of playing, big thanks to everyone; we raised a grand total of just over £70 towards our charity The Willow Trust.
It seems only fair to mention the stars of the match who showed hitherto unknown talent with a rounders bat – fabulous play Michael Johnson, Matt Marshall, Emma Clarkson and Natika Perry.
Finally, of course, the result…..Well done TLG! Winners by 26 rounders to 9 and a half – let’s see if Equilaw can get their revenge next year!
