In The Spotlight

This week we sat down with Antony Cheung, our latest recruit here at the firm and talked about his experience so far at Thomas Legal. Antony joined us back in December as a Legal Assistant and has been making an immediate impact in the team, impressing everyone here.

So tell us a bit more about yourself.

I’m from Ross-on-Wye and I went to Cardiff University where I studied Law, French and also completed the LPC (Legal Practice Course). I spent 4 years at Cardiff  and 1 year at a university in Toulouse where I studied French law during my year abroad. My main hobbies are body building and strength training. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places.

Why Property Law?

After studying the LPC, doing the Property Law Practice course and Commercial Property Law Practice course, I found that I enjoyed these subjects which in turn made me chose a career in property.

What made you join Thomas Legal?

The firm’s outstanding reputation and the fact that it has won many awards is what drew me in to joining Thomas Legal.

How are you finding your experience here so far?

It’s been great, everyone is very friendly and down to earth. I’ve had fun meeting with many different clients and also learnt a lot about property transactions.

What are your long term goals here at the firm?

To become a successful solicitor and lead my own team here.
